Patrick McDade – Winner of the 2016 Martha L. Thomas Mini-Grant

DCEF is pleased to announce Patrick McDade, a teacher from Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy, as the winner of The 2016 Martha L. Thomas Family Mini-Grant.   Mr. McDade submitted his winning project:  “Hydroponics”.

A surprise presentation was given in his classroom at Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy on October 7, 2016. He received a $300.00 check, a certificate and a letter of congratulations from the Davidson County Education Foundation.  The DCEF Mini-Grant Committee, along with The Martha L. Thomas Family, read the applications and made the final selection.
