Hugh Shepherd’s Teacher Mini-Grant Awarded to DCHS

A 2017 DCEF Teacher Mini-Grant was given by The Hugh Shepherd Family to winners, Donna Smith and Melissa Rousseau.  Their winning project was “Paint It Forward”.   A surprise presentation was given in their classroom at Davidson County High School by Bob Callicutt, DCEF Board Member and Teacher Mini-Grant Committee member.

They received a $300.00 check, a certificate and a letter of congratulations from the Hugh Shepherd Family and the Davidson County Education Foundation.

The DCEF Mini-Grant Committee approved all the applications received, and The Shepherd Family made the final selections for their mini-grant.

Our sincere thanks to The Hugh Shepherd Family for their generous donation and continued support toward DCEF and the teachers of the Davidson County Public Schools.
